CHRIS HODGES – Owner
Personal: Chris is a Father of two beautiful girls. He is a man of integrity and faith. He has faithfully served and volunteered at his church for many years from maintenance to music ministry and almost everything in between. His love and dedication to his faith and to his family keeps him grounded.
Business: Growing up, Christopher was no stranger to building and fixing small or large items around the home. His grandfather started General Contracting Repair and Installation in the ’70s and his mother owned multiple properties that required regular maintenance and upgrading throughout his childhood years. They took to teaching him the ins and outs of wear and tear on a home and how to repair and maintain to provide a quality living environment.
Then, fresh out of college, Chris was fortunate to join a company that built quality custom homes in Ponte Vedra Beach. He was personally mentored by the owner and began from the bottom up. Keeping the property clean would be his primary task for the first year because in doing so, he learned the importance of keeping the customer’s comfort and peace of mind at the forefront of every job. Chris was then able to apprentice with the various sub-contractors for on-the-job training for quality custom builds. Soon, he was promoted to superintendent and learned the importance of establishing quality relationships with everyone he worked with. After a while, with the blessing of his mentor, Chris was encouraged to get out in the field to gain even more experience. He landed a job building track homes for a national home builder. It did not take him long to discover the need for a quality product.
With his mentor’s encouragement, Chris started his own business. He learned that having his own business takes even more dedication and attention to detail than ever before. He has established and maintained great working relationships with those he worked with from customers to sub-contractors, to inspectors and suppliers for the past 20 years.
Currently, he has had the pleasure of taking over grandfather’s business that was established in 1975 where he continues to provide quality construction services to the community.
Chris is also dedicated to increasing his knowledge and understanding of his field through further study and collaboration with other experts in the field of construction.
